The red flags were flying and I was distracted until a big pile of shit got flung in my face.

I don't do much orchestral freelancing anymore. The reasons are manifold: I have a good orchestral job and so usually going elsewhere isn't terribly appealing, especially to play symphonies I've already played 60 times.
