Do you think there are things which need improving in our industry with regard to representation and fairness, but… ? Here are the “buts” I tend to hear:
Now’s not the time or the place, and this one particular event/person/ensemble isn’t the real problem
It’s not this person’s job to say something
This is not the way to go about it
